Susan Begy was born in Rochester, NY, has lived in Los Angeles, CA and now lives and works in Brooklyn, NY and Santa Fe, NM. She received an MFA in fine arts from School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2010 and a BFA in studio art from Western State College of Colorado. Begy co-founded Satsuma Gallery in North Hollywood, CA. Her sculpture design was purchased by Noilly Prat in Marseillan, France and displayed at the Grand Palais in Paris. Her work has been exhibited at the California Heritage Museum as well as galleries throughout the United States, and is included in corporate and private collections in the U.S., Canada, and France.
